I'm somewhat disappointed with mine, to be honest. Very surprising too. I guess the main thing is it doesn't play well with the rest of my board; I figured the Bit Commander would satiate my synth needs but that had issues so I went to the Second Voice and now this has noise and tracking issues no matter where I put it in the chain. Even straight through to the amp has trouble high on the neck. Hrm. I should just stick to delay and reverb.

Kinda wish I could return it.

Maybe you should try the OctaSynth... I love mine.

I can confirm that the Octasynth has no noise or tracking issues on a guitar. I play the least octave-friendly setup ever (only bridge pickup, full volume, no tone, tuned to D) and it works flawlessly and stacks well with everything (Octa first). When the octaves aren't blended it gets a little more buggy (blend knob fully to left or right) but otherwise yeah, perfect.

To me it sounds if the Second Voice (that particular one) has an issue. Mine works fine, tracks imho better than the OctaSynth and has no backround noise. It is true SV loves to be near the pickups in the chain. I have both, OctaSynth and Second Voice as the first two pedals on my board.

Never tried the Second Voice (I will when deluxe sv will be available)... but it's same here the Octasynth is at the begining of the chain (second, just after the Pocket Arcade).

Oh crap.

I just discovered pitch-shifted/octave-up reverb and immediately thought of at least half a dozen songs I could use it in. This Line 6 Verbzilla / Empress Superdelay / Strymon BlueSky shootout is insightful and I hate myself.

One of these to compliment my RRR and many delay pedals would make my heart sing.
