TGD doesnt play nice
Has anyone had any issues with a Dwarfcraft TGD not working in a signal chain? It works fine if it's the only pedal I'm running, but when I put it on my board, it doesnt work properly.

Mr. Aen has his own subforum...but to get things moving along...
What do you mean by "doesn't work properly"? Power source? guitar/amp/other pedals used?

Well when it is on my board, if I switch it on it doesnt make any sound at all or respond to playing the guitar. The light switches on and everything and I know it has power, I was just curious if there's a certain order that might make a difference or something.

Do you have a lot of things before it in the chain?
I've had pedals that are plenty loud on their own go quiet if there's TOO MUCH RAWWRRR signal going into them.
Try moving it around on your chain to see if that helps.

Re: TGD doesnt play nice
quite possibly an impedance thing.
I have a DB that has a great volume drop when in front of some other pedals, works great after. so try swapping stuff around a bit, it may just be one or two pedals it doesn't like to follow or may have to be at the beginning of the string.

WIERD. I've heard about a HOly Grail not working well after a TGD, bu tyou're the first to have TGD issues liek this...
I have no ideas other than moving it around, checkng your cables and power supply and all that stuff.

Re: TGD doesnt play nice
OK The first pedal in my signal chain is a MXR bass Blowtorch. The BT hat two outputs, effected and clean. I always have an amp running clean so no matter how much shit I have running into my effected amp I never completely loose my low end. Now when I have my BT bypassed and TGD going I get TGD sound out of both amps. When I have my BT and TGD going my clean amp is how I like it nice and clean. any suggestions on how to fix this?

You'd have to have some kind of buffer between the TGD and the blowtorch. TGD spews it's violent love in all directions.

Re: TGD doesnt play nice
Well the buffer worked but then I couldn't "control" TGD with my bass(volume/tone knobs) I think I will just have to deal with the fact that if I want crazy oscillation sounds it will be coming out all amps. Small price to pay for making the rest of my band poo themselves.
