I think my childhood asthma is back. I'm having shortness of breath, chest pains, and tightness in my lungs at work. I've been having shortness of breath for a few weeks, but always brushed it off. When my shift started it was bad enough that I was feeling lightheaded.

Going home early, even though I need the hours, and feel like a douche for leaving. It's a production plant, so anyone not being here fucks everything up. I just hope that I can make it to a doctor tomorrow, and they can tell me something useful. :\

oh, and my phone charger broke a couple days ago, so I've had to make all my calls from Google Voice, and I can only use it when I'm by my laptop and there's wifi. gGot me thinking about a workaround for spending $70/month on my own phone plan (I might spend $50/month on 2gb of 3g wifi or mifi and just buy an ipod touch and put Google Voice on it. Or get a barebones smartphone plan and put my money into data instead of texts and minutes and do the same thing with googvoice), but it's still a dumb situation.

so now when i met an apparently genuinely nice girl, i'm still worried, subconsciously expecting when she'll mock me down to my knees, break my heart, use me, fucking hurt me... and i'm kinda nervous about our date tomorrow

I totally understand what you mean, man. Just take a breather. The absolute worst case scenario, she ends up being a bitch, and you get let down. But if that is the case, then fuck her. You don't need that.

Croatia. We're like, a step away from Greece finance-wise, but our people are too lazy/apathic to get out on the streets. Fucked up mentality and stuff. Crying about the war 20 years ago but not pursuing the criminals that robbed the country cold when it got out of Yugoslavia. They ruined our industry, destroyed our shipyards, money is being lost monthly and the citizens are supposed to take the toll. Now our governments want to enter the EU, and that's fine, but they are raising prices to the EU standards, and our salary is like, 300% lower than in the EU. People with collage degrees are being sod off cuz they are "overqualified" and they can't get jobs here so they are literally running abroad when they find the chance to. We've got 25% tax on everything (also, with 25% tax and 10% customs fee + shipping, it's still cheaper to order pedals from abroad than it is to buy in a store here. fuck yeah!).
And the people that DO want change, can't get anyone on their feet. Everyone's scared and exhausted.. :/
I'm putting my hopes in the Pirate Party. Last piece of hope I have.

So it's really a bad time to go and try to find a steady job and to get an apartment, cuz, yeah.
I've been thinking of escaping abroad too, but I don't know where. Canada perhaps? Hell I don't know..
