wide, cheap, old cab for my amp?

Post by aussy »

just bought a laney klipp clone
any cab recommendations? as the title implies, priorities are: wide, cheap and old
I'd jump for a beat, empty 1x15 if it popped up on CL

I think a lot of people have things that they aren't actively selling but will sell if prompted.

When I was looking for a 215 or 2 115s I put a "Want to Buy" ad up on CL and
within a day I had 4 or 5 offers. I ended up with a Peavy 215 for $125.

Maybe give that a try?

MEC's got the right idea. I was going to recommend a Peavy even. Their older stuff is decent and cheap. :idk:

2x15s are plentiful if you ask around.

Everybody's got one if you're willing to move it and pay a bill for it.

Dare.

If you want wide, cheap, and old..you're not picking the exact size or characteristics!
