Christmas 11 005.JPG

This is my little buddy, Ted.
He is the only dog I know who can tolerate my bass playing.
He falls asleep beside my amp all the time.
He's the sweetest little fellow in the world.

that was what amazed me about Ronaldinho, the kitty who stayed with me until the end...he didn't mind my playing electric guitar unless i got so loud that it was painful to me. i've never seen a cat who would tolerate sitting in front of a thirty-watt amp going at louder-than-conversational level before. and his hearing was fine...he could hear a tin of cat food being opened two rooms away.

fuck yeah. shit keeps getting in the way every time i plan to go back, but i'm gonna make it a priority to get out there for at least 2 or 3 weeks in the next 6 months.

soooooooooooooomebody's got a nice little surrrrrrrrrrrrprise coming there way for being such a Pimped Out Dooder helping Shawny get his bass baaaaaaaaaaaaaackkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk........

also, these cats are ADORABLE.

Where in Japan are you going? I was stationed in Iwakuni but spent almost every weekend in Hiroshima. Lived there for 6 months and it was pretty fantastic. If I didn't have crap to deal with back home I would have stayed another 6.

Shawn mentioned something but I told him he didn't have to do anything and haven't heard anything more. Honestly, I was happy to help out.

My practice sessions are usually attended by Oreo...then again, my location is usually noted and updated in general (she's a Norwegian Forest cat and they're known to be usually always near their person).

Ah cool. I wasn't able to make it that far North but really wanted to go. It was just hard to get the time to do it. Hopefully I'll be able to make it back some day. Man there's so many places to see!

5 being conservative...That's one part I miss about my old job, I don't get to go to Tokyo anymore. I do get to go to Copenhagen twice a year now, which is pretty cool, though not quite as fun.

lol. yah. i guess 5 MAIN different districts is closer to accurate.

MAN. i would LOVE to have peoples pay me to travel. i've had to come out of pocket every time i've gone somewhere (except for one time where The Wiff's parents dropped so much money on me they kinda paid for my whole trip) and that shit adds up. sometimes it's like, do i get a second Dingwall? or take a 3 week vacation to a place i love?

oof. just picked up 4 boom mic stands, a carry case for 'em, a Hercules bass stand and a pair of 20 footish mic cords for $97. i love me some CL.
