world cup...

Post by htsamurai »

im not gonna get into the 'soccer vs. futbol' argument, because its been a sport longer than the us has been a country
but what id like to know is how many of you guys are interested in it? how many of you, like myself, are planning to watch every game fully aware that like in the last one there might be some games at 3am  (well in the US atleast)

and of course, we're all rooting for mexico right?

I will definitely be watching, I watched the last two world cups pretty closely (including getting up at 4:30am for for a USA match last time)

BTW - I know people like to blame Americans for calling it 'soccer', but that name actually originated in England.

I was once in a strip club is South America during world Cup.
when the game started, match in Europe, they killed the stage lights and music to put the game on.

I'd buy it.

I also love soccer. I play it a lot and love watching it. I'm really looking forward to the world cup.
:joy: things to do, things to re-do :omg:
