Nice! I was waiting for some sort of update/demo on this. For $100 having 22 watts that could fit in your jacket pocket is a pretty cool deal. This just brings a whole new convenience to anyone in a street corner band.

It certainly wouldn't be like 22 watts tube, but for what this amp "appears" to be made for (random jams/coffeeshops/bedroom/street corner/etc.) I would think 22 watts SS would be pretty solid. It could certainly fill up a small room with ease, and with good acoustics, maybe a bit bigger. Heck, the highest wattage I've seen in amps this big is usually about a 1/2 watt, tube or SS... and they're in even bigger enclosures! I think for many people, if they are looking for a backup, are a broke-ass kid, or aren't looking for the ultimate tone, this may run the gamut on the market of low-wattage SS amps.

I had a 1 watt solid state amp ina similar enclosure and it was loud through my 4x12. I imagine 22 watts through decent speakers can be very loud.

looks like these have hit ebay, $99. I was thinking if I ended up getting one of these things, the perfect pair for it would be a Dr. Scientist cleanness.
