What pedal/pedal company is this...?

Post by gunslinger_burrito »

The white one to the "top" right of the moogerfooger, with all the switches. I think it's a japanese brand, but I can't for the life of me remember the name of the company. I DO remember they were kind of pricey, though....

The blue one next to it is from the same company, the Lastgasp Art Laboratories Thunderboxx, which is a bass booster.

Yes indeed it is.

Also, I figured out he's probably using the SOF88 in "Stone to Wake a Serpent". So not just for street cred.

I've got 2 of these on the way for minor repairs right now.
Seriously excited to finally try one!

Thing about the studio is that bands use shitloads of stuff. I'm guessing it might have either been a Sunn Model T or the old Mesa Boogie rack mounted amps they used to use.

I think he started playing VHTs around that time. Fryettes now. And I'm near 100% certain he prefers amp overdrive/distortion for his main dirty tone.

The VHT didn't show up until about halfway through the Absence of Truth tour.

I'll figure it out one day. I've facebooked the band but no reply, they usually get back to messages but it has been about 2 weeks. Mentioned before, it's a studio thing, could be anything....
