I'm with this. I respect Marr as a guitarist, but as a band, I can't stand them. and I had no clue who Pantera was when I was 12 (I'm 22), but Dime was the man :rock:

Being from Arlington, this is actually a conversation I've had several times. Or, the joke is made that Pantera did a really great Smiths cover.

Good is subjective. I hate pantera, but I'm not going to look down on other people for liking them, and I fucking love the smiths.

Both are cheesy as hell. The Smiths one sounds like it'd be the opening credits of some fucking first day of high school movie from the '90s and the Pantera one sounds like, well, Pantera.
