It's so sad, the whole thing is just so sad, all about money and ego.

By the way, I find curious -to say the least- that Josh is the only one left from the original QOTSA line-up. Seems that some of the stories are true, about him being a difficult guy to work with.

Yeah I don't really see qotsa as a band as much as the josh homme project. Troy van leeuwen and joey castillo are really good though, and obviously when mark lanegan was involved was ridiculous. I LIKE the josh homme project, I just don't quite see them as a 'proper' band.

Troy Van Leeuwen is AMAZING

Josh can be difficult to work with, i can see that happening... he can be a dick sometimes... but i still like him :idk: :D love his music, and the attitude is pretty kickass - even though it doesn't always have to be the best thing

He is pretty awesome.

Homme/QOTSA/Kyuss aren't my faves, but plenty of my favorite musicians/bands were/are notorious assholes, so I'm used to it (Pink Floyd anyone?)

On a side note, I thought it was pronounced k'yuss (one syllable) not KIE-uss for the longest time.

I also just remembered that I listed to Kyuss once and thought their singer sucked waaaayyyyy too hard for me to stand them anymore. QOTSA are a modern classic band though; can't beat Songs for the Deaf. And Them Crooked Vultures, definitely one of the best supergroups of all time.

Yeah, I agree about not caring about musicians being assholes, the point is the music, I don't care if they're nice people.

And I think John Garcia is a great singer. :idk: Much love for qotsa and them crooked vultures too though.
