yeah thats why there are all these muse "fans" who have come out of nowhere and when you say, what other songs do you like hey respond, i only know super massive black hole.
Just do it Aen; you don't want to hold that shit in.
I'm not a huge Muse fan, but I'd say I probably like 5 or 6 of their songs. But I know that when people bash bands I love (like Tool and TMV), I certainly don't get pissy about it. Sometimes I even think its funny.
EDIT: Even though I am a gushing fanboy, this guy completely tears TMV apart, and I laughed my ass off. They are probably the funniest album reviews I've ever read:
Yeah, for being all anti establishment, Muse sure has become... mu.... established.
I heard that the supercool vampires in the movie are playing baseball while the Muse song plays. Come on, for real? Oh, and they play during a thunderstorm so know one notices the thunderous sound of them hitting the ball. I just punched myself in the ball for posting this. I made a thunderous sound.
muse is what it is, easy to listen to riffy rock. i can't hate on them for doing what they do. it's not immensely groundbreaking or mindblowing, but i enjoy all their records. good driving music

When you dig deeper into the rock spectrum it's easier to hate.
The thing that always irritated me with the Muse was that first song they had as a "hit" on MTV. I swear they lifted the chord progression wholesale from an old ABC song from the 80's, just assuming we were all stupid enough not to notice.

can i get a link to this song that muse copied? and a chord progression is not really a huge deal: disarm and in the sun are the same chord progressions. both great songs.
