Well I am relatively new to wiring up guitars, best to treat me like an absolute beginner.
I just recently bought a Seymour Duncan P-rail (bridge) and a dimarzio DP162 (neck) with a 3 way switch, and spent 3+ ours last night figuring out how I wire this up. I know I won't be able to get all three options out of the P-Rails and have to dimarzio with just a three way switch, so I am willing ( for the time being ) to hit use the P-Rails like a normal humbucker. My problem is when I go to wire it up, and tap the terminals to see if I get sound, I either get sound at all switch positions, or only one or two terminals with respond to the taping an the rest remain seilent...
I haven't even gotten to the point were I can wire up the Dimarzio...
I have looked at the Seymour Duncan semantics but they haven't helped much...
And help I can get would be very much appreciated!
Thanks! -Jason

Re: Seymour Duncan P-rail wiring help.
The wiring diagrams that I've seen for two pickups and a three way switch
are pretty straight forward.
Could you take some pictures of how you have it wired up?
Without pictures, it's hard to tell exactly where you may have gone wrong.
