NADJA. today
Never was that big fan of them BUT since so many people say nice things about them, I had thought about giving them a chance to prove themselves live. No can see  can't help that.

ENTOMBED / IMPALED NAZARENE / DEATHCHAIN / A.R.G. / AZAGHAL / VALOTON / OMINOUS / HELLBOOZER UNION weekend
Would have like to see Entombed. I've seen the Finnish colleague I care to see already a few times, but it wouldn't have hurt to have a chat with the guys

THE CROWN / TAAKE / SOTAJUMALA / ENOCHIAN CRESCENT / CAVUS / SACRILEGIOUS IMPALEMENT / CORPSESSED / FORCED KILL / SAWHILL SACRIFICE / XIII / SAATTUE this weekend
Dogdamn I wanted to see my old band, SO BUMMED  it's a while I saw them, and Cavus and Sotajumala guys. Would have liked to see Taake and the Crown too... and Sacrilegious Impalement.

 *gah* I hate being stuck home

Amon Tobin.

ONLY found out about it yesterday. It was on the 11th.

You know what I was doing on the 11th?

Fuck all
.

Definitely not seeing Amon fucking Tobin. Which would have been a dandy evening.
I play.

Negura Bunget, who I didn't even know were playing here. But it was in a bar any way so it wouldn't have made a difference.

Falls of Rauros. Back home for a spell, but I spent the evening out with an old friend before he heads to San Diego.

Bummer.

the most recent thing that grieved me was Spiritualized at the Fillmore. there was also Acid Mothers Temple at Bottom of the Hill which was some insanely cheap ticket cost like $12, but i couldn't afford to drive up to San Francisco and back...the truck gets maybe 12 mpg, so it'd cost me three times as much to drive to the gig as to see the show.

Yeah AMT tickets are always seriously cheap. I missed their last Boston date as well.

I missed an Arctic Monkeys gig (that I had tickets to) last October because Hertz cancelled my car rental just a couple days before the show. Didn't even give me a voucher or anything. Couldn't sell the tickets either. Fuck Hertz, man.
Then I couldn't make it out to either Cymbals Eat Guitars or Portugal. The Man in the same week because of finals.

I Don't Hear Nothing But The Blues Trio & Mick Barr solo last night. A buddy told me it was really awesome but I went to a more or less crappy rehearsal.

You never know when the rehearsals turn out cool and when they do not. :(

Most recently it was Justice. I'd seen them twice beforehand and had work the next day so I thought I'd pass on it. As it turns out my dad tells me the night of the gig that he has two free tickets. The next day when I get into work half of the staff have been out at the gig the following night
