I hate the cult-like behavior of Ron Paul's supporters.

I absolutely want to get in one of those town hall style debates and ask him "As a libertarian, how can you justify your position on abortion aside from your decades of delivering babies which is something most people can't relate to at all?"

what i dislike is that Paul's supporters aren't so much "supporters" as "followers."

I feel like over the last 10 years the term "libertarian" has gone from meaning "Somebody whose logic I can respect but sometimes disagree with" to "Somebody who based their policy ideas off of a completely arbitrary series of ideals."

And how in open discussion forums they try to silence people who disagree with them. Call me crazy, but I thought the idea of libertarianism was the antithesis of that sort of behaviour?

Not to mention their current strategy of working their own supporters into positions as delegate representatives in order to sneak his way to the front of the convention.

Really disturbingly fascist-tinged.

I also hate people who think Ron Paul is a libertarian.

I hate that he's the only candidate with a decent fucking stance, and that the media constantly demonizes him.

The only policies I don't like by him are his health care stances, the rest of his positions really seem like the way to go right now. Everything here needs a fucking overhaul.

I feel like Ron's the only man who as president would actually fight the Illuminati control scheme.

Ron Paul is free to say anything he wants because he has no chance of ever getting elected President.

oh... a weird thing happened to me just a few moments ago

a was coming back home from my friend's when all of a sudden my magical fantasy time happened again... after a few years. A few years ago i've been hopelessly in love with a classmate for like... two years straight and she was kinda mean to me... anyway... sometimes, i did have a fantasy which included me saving/helping her from some situation like... carrying her down from a hill where she broke her leg or carrying her out of her apartment on fire. Laugh as you wish, those happened to me and i have NO IDEA why did i have to imagine myself winning her heart over by saving her...

anyway i was walking home, wlaking down the street, when all of the sudden it came back again. Only this time, it was just some random cutie.
i was walking home in the evening and i saw a girl twisting her ankle... so i rushed to help her, helped her get to the emergency and stayed there with her until they took care of her and did their duties... talking, buying her coffee and water at the vending machine... and then helped her get home and got promised we'd go somewhere...

For a long time libertarian was basically "Republican that smokes pot."

And I'm pretty sure that's still what it still is, actually.

modern-day "libertarians" IMO are philosophically anarchists who want the freedom of action anarchy entails but want to keep their wealth and real property. that's why i dislike them beyond my disagreements with their politics...i find their stance self-contradictory and hypocritical.
