^ I still haven't really spun that record... & I'm jealous of you, foo, I need to grab a copy of Ten Stories soon.
But, I went to a show last night and picked up some CDs.
Had planned on picking up Getting Paid for a while now so I'm happy I finally did, but Sister Crayon totally stole the fucking show. Their record is more mellow than they are live, but still really, really good. Recommend checking them out, especially live if you can.

God damn it, I still haven't picked up the Money Store. Needs to bump that on a serious stereo.

i love this. many of the mixes are quite different--listen to long, long, long. the mono versions seems to have a 3-dimensional depth that the stereo lacks. sgt. peppers didn't work as well in mono for me as the others. the mono white album is ace. if you like this, try the dylan.

You definitely will, it has an initial getting used to phase

The fidelity differences between this and the Tee Pee version are middling--there's less separation between the guitar tracks, and the drums are slightly quieter. The Holy Mountain live track is decent.
But I have it on cd, finally, and I only paid five bucks for it new.
Also, the album art is awesome.

Who might the gentleman in your avatar be kbi? He looks like the kind of gentleman I'd listen to.
Just grabbed a vinyl of this. Going back soon for one of 'Sketches of Spain'.
I play.
