Does anyone happen to be a real Isis gear nut and know what gear they used for the song HOly Tears?
I know that Aaron was using Sunn amps at the time live but not sure if he was used an original model T or a reissue in the studio. From my research he mainly used a maxon ROD881 with an Eq boost around that time, then switched to VHT and was using the amp distortion apparently.
Cheers

I don't know specifically what is used on that song, but I was pretty familiar with his pedalboard.
He used a Fulltone Bassdrive and Boss RV-3 for a LOT of his main tone.

I think the Sunn Amps came after the album was finished, so he and Mike Gallagher may have still been using the Mesa Boogie rackmount gear. I've never actually seen a picture of Aaron with a drive pedal on his board, but he usually had a Moogerfooger Ring Mod and maybe a Boss PH-3 kicking around the board.
Mike Gallagher's board literally never changed, Boss EQ->Dunlop Tremolo->Boss RV3->Boss RC-20.

The LAL Super Oscillo Fuzz didn't show up until the very end(~2009-2010), and I'm still not sure what he even used that for.
