Re: Elements on bass
Well the problem is we don't do custom boxes, so it could be a cool project but it would be in an unfinished box. And I don't know what box it would take plus sorting out the switching... I meant I liked it more as an idea, you know, a wondrous possibility kinda thing.

Love The Elements still. I like the idea of two in one enclosure, as I intend on getting another, but since I'm halfway there already...

Re: Elements on bass
I'd do a plain box Ryan. I could just etch that sucker. If it's too complicated though, that's no biggie.

Re: Elements on bass
I am loving my Elements so far. Lots of versatility but I'm getting used to the controls and starting to dial in some great sounds.

Re: Elements on bass
The Elements drew me in immediatly. Usually it takes me a little time to warm up to a new pedal and I wasn't even sure how well it worked on bass, but I was happy with this almost instantly.

Unfinished box and you etch it, I like that idea.. let's ponder! Shoot me an email, ryan@drscientist.ca, and we'll ponder box sizes etc, I think we can do this.
Jeff, that's awesome to hear you're liking it! Fire away if you have any questions about settings or anything!
Thanks again, Lyle!

Still exploring! If there's something specific I'm after I will let you know but for now twisting knobs seems to be good! It's actually quite intuitive once you know what the bass cut and mid freq positions correspond to (i.e. read the manual)

Re: Elements on bass
Right on, Jeff, I'm happy to hear you find it intuitive to use!
Yo Dan! We shipped the box out last week so I betcha you'll get it next week... we're excited to see what you do with it!
You picked up an Elements too? You should have come to me! Hope you dig it and come back around here for settings etc and thank you very much.

I KNOW I should have, but in the sin-den that is crazy-fast-MUSTHAVEITNOW-selling sub forums I just couldn't resist.
I got it today!! It is crazy!! And it plays so well with other effects. Holy god
I haven't had enough time to really dig in (but my god...the high gain madness...THE HIGH GAIN MADNESS I SAY) but i'll come back with settings! It can be subtle and luscious, grindy and cutting or just outright crazy. The feedback it produces is so gorgeous.

Re: Elements on bass
So like what about the Low Gain settings? I'm going to minimize my bass fuzz setup to A/B, tuner, Bass Bloom, and either Fuck or The Elements, and both of the two latter will also double as guitar stuff. So since the Bass Bloom will have the high gain fuzz covered, will the The Elements be good for a very light OD to just slight goose for some bite?
