An interesting read on how are brain makes up colors that aren't in the visible light spectrum.

Re: Colors vs. Reality
I totally relate to the opening question. And that was interesting. I like these recent color threads.

Youtube Channel?

Oh right Qualia. There's some interesting stuff to read with regard that. I didn't know magenta was a "fake" colour though there could be some incorrect assumptions there.

Not so much "fake" as "only exists in our heads."

Re: Colors vs. Reality
But colours only exist in our head if you look at it that way. Nearly everythin we see has some element of "unnatural" colour.
Also, it could be possible that magenta "is" a real colour just one produced by a phenomenon different to the photons we all know and love. Like the Tachyon version of Photons. Maybe light that exists at greater the speed of light has an alternate spectrum. Or perhaps if we could see ultra violet, it would look like Magenta, and our brains have silly mapping, or there's something to do with harmonics.
Colours are just how we interpret things anyway. The fact that one thing only exists as a "mix" of two things is silly since everything is likely made from "a mix" of things anyway. Photons themselves are divisble packets of energy.

Personally I think magenta is a lovely color, whether it's made up or not!
It's always in nice places. Particularly sunsets and tropical fruits. Various things of simple pleasure. I dig it.

Dude, a ball pit is not... weren't you ever a little kid? Ya know, a ball pit, with the plastic balls and you'd jump in it... it's not a gay bar!
