Imagine if you pointed the strobe at something with a photo eye.

All sorts of seizure inducing deliciousness! :!!!:

Strobe lights cause seizures in some people, and we still have strobe lights. How did that work out?

Is that not supposed to always be on?

If you ask the designer, sure.
If you ask me, no.

Apparently you can buff the led a bit to dull the pain. I'd recommend something like that. Or just put a dollop of hot glue on it.

Hey Everyone,

This is my first post on I Love Fuzz! Glad to be here. I'm happy to see a discussion about this.

Couple of things:
1. The Multiverse doesn't come with the 'Satellite' strobe. It's very much a specialty item and not for everyone - So, I made it a stand alone pedal. Also, it connects via a 1/4 inch instrument cable so you can stick it anywhere in the room - not blasting in your face like in the demo ;)
2. Yes, the tremolo rate indicator is on all the time so you know how fast it is before you turn the pedal on - I think this is essential for live scenarios. But, if anyone doesn't want it on their pedals I can easily have it turn off when you turn the pedal off. I like being flexible and understand everyone has different tastes and wants in their gear.

If you'd like to see a "nicer" side of the Multiverse I recommend you check out the piano demo on my site - There's no strobe!

Let me know if you have any questions.

All the best,
Julian

I think it's cool as shit! The price makes it out of my range but still, cool as fuck dude. Nice work!

Thanks, jwar! I really appreciate it. Parts and build time drive the price up. But, given it's features and paint job it's actually way less than it should be - I like to keep things reasonable as I want all types of players to be using this pedal not just those with fat wallets. :)

The strobe is definitely not for me, but the sound is ace.
Side note: thank you for being one of the few people to provide key demos; I'll probably be picking up a fuzz light year in the near future.

Hey bob, I'm glad you dig the tone and the demos! All other instruments but guitar are generally neglected in demos -I'm really not sure why. I actually sold a Fuzz Light Year to a bassoonist, if you can believe it, and It sounds otherworldly. I'm hoping to make a demo with her soon just to share the experience.
