Super Reverb

Post by my bloody television »

I just bought one! I've been lusting after one for a while and finally found a deal I couldn't resist on an early 70's silverface. :omg: :omg: $645?! :omg: :omg:

great buy.

One of the best sounding amps ever made.
My son's '72 sounds better than most of the black face ones I've heard.

Enjoy it.

That's a great deal!

My amp is a late-70s (i.e. supposedly uncool mass produced) Fender Twin which sounds so full, sweet and wonderful it's untrue...

I almost got a twin reverb silverface a month ago but I decided to pass for my Sunn (No regrets) but it was one of the best amps I have ever played with. It's still at that guitar store sitting there for 600 hundred bucks waiting. The reverb on it is out of control!

My father has two of em. I grew up listening to him play through that amp, probably from around the same year too. Makes me all warm an fuzzy inside.

Congrats on a great buy!! :thumb:

Nice score! I was looking for one of these while searching for an amp but I couldn't find one priced under $1000 but then I tried the DeVille and I thought it suited my style better anyways but yeah, if I were to get another amo it would probebly be either this or an Orange Rockr.

Nice. Next time I buy a combo, that's the one I want.
