If I could only bring one, it would have to be the Algal Bloom. It just has so many tones in it. If I could bring two, it would be the Dream Crusher and the AB-Synth, for old school and new school fuzz tones.

Only one? It would have to be an algal bloom for the versatility. TAFM and meathead come close for just being super heavy though.

if there's electricity on this island, i can order pedals by radiophone. i reject and transcend your petty limitations. but if i only have room to pack one thing, it's going to be either my 70s Distortion+ or the small-box Algal Bloom Tom made for me. the D+ was my base dirt tone for 25 years and is still one of my favorites; the Bloom has so many different great-sounding settings that i could cover half of the sounds in my fuzz/tortion section if i wasn't so lazy about re-twiddling knobs/nervous about hunting for settings while playing. i love my other dirtz, but they're mainly there to do one or two specific things.
