Wouldn't it have his name on it if it was a signature model?

Someone is desperate for some money.

The Cobain Jags with one vol. and tone pot had this neck stamp:

HJG-66KC

Also I don't believ they made CIJ Jags then, they were MIJ.

There's a japanese website (i'm sorry i can't remember it) where they've got a lot of custom models of kurt's guitars (among others). His jaguar over the years (like 92 version,93,94...) the blue mustang. With all that little customizations. They are supposed to be CIJ jags and sell for 1000$ more or less.

that is a knockoff. cobain's jag had two volume konbs 1 tone, and his had a 3 way switch instead if the 3 lower switches. i believe the TOM was a black ibanez bridge but i could be wrong. :idk:

This is the website http://www.ikebe-gakki.com
For those not familiarized with the japanese language, you can browse their guitars here.
http://www.ikebe-gakki.com/shopping_20. ... _index=120
There are four kurt models in that page (3 jags and 1 mustang). Kurt's models are the ones with the KC at the end.
Here the left handed jag version and another mustang:

I think it's pretty interesting that fender is building this models only in/for japan...

it's an "inspired by" guitar rather then a signature model. fender does this in japan and it doesn't involve participation from the artist.
they did it with keith richards and his tele too.
