hmm alright I'll have to keep my eye out then. thanks
EDIT: just check'd the completed listing and all the most previous ones sold for mostly over $300 seems like you got pretty lucky with your finds, but I'll try and be patient to see if a cheaper one shows up . The one I'm talking about is not the wah btw. It's the other version.
I see haha I'll have to add the ebay.co.uk to my bookmarks btw whats the general consensus on this pedal? I guess i've heard decent things about these as well as some bad things. I guess i got little excited over the lower than usual price (which I was obviously wrong about )
they're fun in the bedroom and in the studio but other than for that odd 'Psychocandy' tribute gig it's not easy to use live. big volume drop and if you run it into a dirty amp (the best way to run it IMHO) it goes crazy and snarls and spits and is tricky to tame! all part of its charm. i keep finding them and selling them after a while. onto my third now so we'll see how it goes.
Yeah- the Russian fuzzes make me damn nervous to own.....no way to fix those things if they go ape squeeze on me (huh, schematic- yeah right). Hell, every vintage fuzz I own makes me nervous....fingers crossed they all keep working as long as I own them! I linked my utube as I always make vids to show all these crusty old pedals....and here it is again- http://www.youtube.com/user/chipshot445 ... sults_main Woot....

Does the original Roland AF-100 Bee Baa actually produce constant upper octave harmonics like the Maxon Fuzz Elements Fire? Just curious given none of the Bee Baa clones I've owned over the years did so unless I bottomed out the gain in the mid-suck setting.
