Sounds like waiting is a good plan. I'm at my most happiest when I've set some money aside to buy something. When's there's a little financial anxiety I don't think I give a fair shot to item (Pedals mostly) and feel even worse if I don't love it like I thought I would. If I'm financially comfortable with the purchase then I'm fine with the outcome, be it good or bad (doesn't help the dissapointment though

).

Since your rig is good, wait till you have a little cash to try a tube amp out without the financial pressure taking a ride with it. That's what I'd do anyway...

I agree...a tube had is nice, but it's not MANDATORY (in spite of what certain banned kitten-punchers may say....). IMO, you should try one or two sometime, if given the chance, but I know that you're happy with your current rig and that's something a LOT of people cannot always honestly say.

yah. i'm a little afraid of the Dark Path Of Toob Desire....... i'm (wo)man enough to admit that. i just found out that the people that are sharing our spot that i THOUGHT were being cool about getting the fuck out by the end of this month have just turned into douche flavored waffles and are talking about "mayyyyyyyyyybe by August........ i dunno though.........."

so just sent off an email to let them know that's not gonna work, if they're not ready to be out by the end of the month we have a room on hold that we'll move into..... but i'm going to have to come up with either $200 to pay back their share of the deposit or $400 to cover a new deposit. yarp.

That's what's kinda funny. I have my Status S2 Classic. I've had it since high school. In the past decade, I have never once GASed for another bass. No need for two. Just have one and get more pedals. And if there are no more pedals. FEED ME KIT KATS!!!! :)*

well, i'm a tad ocd and get super worried at shows about breaking something..... it's super rare that another band has a sixer i can borrow, and like 4% of the music i end up playing would work without one. so i bring an older beater Dean Edge Q. i'd rather have two good basses with if possible.

butttttttttttttt gonna have to drop my fun money on that silly practice situation, so will have to wait a few weeks before i order one. last time i went through Guitar X, because that let me put down like a 1/4 then do payments. which let me get the build started right away since they quoted me 3-4 months and it ended up being only 2.5.

urf. now gotta get at Mssr. Sheldon see if he'll let me do the thing i want with a passive version of the AB II. fingers, nuts, butts, and taint crossed.
