It's funny, because the bass tone on Undertow is one of my holy grail bass tones, but you're right that it's buried on that particular song. Probably because he just tuned a Ric down to B without changing the strings to a heavier set, so the low string was floppy and had no balls

I like the sound tape makes when you unroll it, tape as in adhesive tape, not cassette tape.

I'm just gonna be honest and say that I don't like Paul D'Amour at all as a bass player.

I actually agree. I'm just talking about his tone on that album, which is basically just Ric -> Mesa 400.

I often don't like how much time I spend on the internet.

I just made a tumblr account.
Can't stop.

Deleted that shit quick. I like a lot of the photography and art I found, but the amount of reblogging from the 15 people I was following in less than 24 hours was insane. People must spend hours upon hours on that site. No thanks.

I love the repetitive funky songs that they use for fights in kung-fu movies. Like this:

Also, Black Dynamite is fantastic.

Bonus confession: I tend to get pretty stompcore when I play.
Today I totally janked my left heel.

I didn't know that stompcore was totally a thing.

My friend invented the term scarfcore.
