Is the EAR delay really worth the scratch? It looks like it has a bunch of cool features but the asking price is pretty prohibitive. Is it special enough?

Sorry missed the question I swear this thread moves so fast!
The EAR delay I picked up on eBay for 250. At 250 it's amazing but it is a sound and you have to like the sound. I do and as such it's my favourite delay to use as a delay rather than a looper/crazy noise maker etc. The oscillate switch is very cool but it's sometimes a bit tricky to get timing right the depth knob controls the oscillate switches speed which is a tad confusing sometimes.
The infinite thing is awesome but any delay with long repeats can sort of do it I think it just lets you play clean through it at the same time.

All in all though that and the el cap are all I will ever need for delay, at one point I was using a timeline and superdelay and SMM Hazarai. It's simple but it does what it does the best to me

Hey tommasters, how do you like the Nasa Attribute (assuming that's what the montreal assembly pedal is)? I think I'm going to get one, they look awesome.

Also, that board is super sick. :thumb:

Hah! I was wondering if you'd notice that!

Nasa Attribute is pretty cool I don't use it a lot but into the organizer it makes some really cool sounds. An LED like some of the other Montreal pedals would help to dial in the setting I think cause you have to scroll through them all press buttons etc but sound wise it's excellent just a little awkward to dial in. The hold mode is great in particular though.

does it stay on the last setting when you unplug it and replug it? there were some fun sounds on the WSOU but it killed the usefulness for me that i'd have to redial it in every time i plugged in my board.

Cool, thanks for the input, don't see a lot about them. The hold mode is what I'm most interested in, seems like a really useful tool.

I picked up the EAR delay from PGS with a 15% off coupon and don't regret it one bit. Amazing pedal.
