The Greta was a disappointment. Yeah, it's a cool little box, but the sounds just aren't realistically usable. You go between ratty clean and ratty distortion. You can get the same out of a Fender Frontman for free, because people literally throw them away.
The Excelsior sounded ok clean, but there are no less than two dozen fuzz pedals that I'd prefer to the overdrive sound.

From that video I'd agree, but it might be better in person or with a better recording. There's often something about a fuzzy cranked amp that fuzz pedals just don't really get imo.

I liked that thrashy style. I See, that opinions differ. I already have the ultimate Amp. This just will be another toy, eh toys. Fuzz into overdriven amps, even shitty, sounds interesting to me. And i think, the trem Seems to be usable.

No. At Musikmesse they were on display but not actual running. The complete build quality looked there in person very good. End of may is the estimated delivery date in most german shops. I will get it then for sure.
that's pretty damn chunky for an amp being driven by a Tele. i can't help but wonder if i could run a cable between one of the unused inputs and my Electar and slave the Electar, resulting in a truly deadly ~15Wx2 array.

there's also the stereo thing, but i'm thinking that the huge fatness of the Excelsior and its 15" combined with my Electar's Champ-esque treble howl through the Jensen C8 in mono might be just what the doctor ordered as an even more impolite alternative to the Laney...like a young grizzly bear: small, ponderous, and with big scary claws and teeth.

Electar Tube 10? I regret trading mine. It sounded great through a TL-806 cab with EVM-12L. So-so at best through the stock speaker, though.
