Thanks to a combination of skier's/skater's knees, a couple of nasty bike-racing pileups, and life in general I'm a little too familiar with the various varieties of Vicodin to think of it as being recreational fun. I do have a small stash here tho...life does still happen.

Veering to ask who here knows about Peavey Milleniums...I saw one this afternoon (J-bass config, Indonesian) in a pawn shop for $159. It plays but badly needs a setup and has a gorgeous flamed top. I'm rather tempted...

it's not HORRIBLE, it just kinda blends in with movies of that type. and Ducuvony (sp? can't be arsed to look it up) is kinda annoying in everything.

oof. a movie i remembered being good but couldn't watch more than 20 minutes of? The Limey. BLEGG. Terence Stamp is always good, Fonda was a'ight, but every non name actor was GARBAGE. like, film school movie where all of your friends are the actors bad.

Smoking Aces is HELLA good. great lines, just a good action movie with a bit of depth. the sequel? fucking AWFUL. even Vinnie Jones can't save that shit pile.

one of my favorite under-rated actors is Ben Foster. he was Angel in that shitty X-Men 3 movie, the older neo nazi brother of the kid that got kidnapped in Alph Dog, main dood in Pandorum, friend of Marky Mark in Cobtraband, wounded hit man guy in The Mechanic.... everything he's in, he's kinda the most interesting person on screen.
