Sold my Jag bass and bought this for almost the same cost - list a craigslist swap, but with money involved.
Fucking stoked on this, even if no one I know is.... they all think I'm an idiot, but playing 6 string bass is going to be my new challenge.....

That's actually a pretty nice looking example of a BTB. I like the burl veneer and neck through stringers. Is this a prestige model? If so you got the better end of the deal. Looks like a "poor man's" Ritter. I'm not that Jazzed on the Jag basses. Jag Guitars FTW,...but the bass versions? Not so much; at least from a shallow standpoint. I guess what I'm saying is I'd prefer that BTB over a Jag Bass myself.

Yeah, I grew to kind of hate my jag bass - I didn't like how it sounded, or played and I felt like I should be playing in an all girl japanese surf band look wise... but yeah, I was so happy this all came together and I definitely feel like I got a great deal. And in the end if caost me about 100 bucks to upgrade between the buying and selling.

I think this is a really good example of why you shouldn't leave your guitar on the heating vent - it's warped really severely

The pickups and bridge too. They're about to melt off of the bass.

I've got a 4 string BTB. Was the first (and so far only) new bass I've bought. It doesn't get a lot of time but still love it.

Man I like that! Cept for all those strings. That kinda gives me a headache.
