Truthfully I can flop the titles between the two boards...the mini is capable of some crazy synth stuff with the octaver, Polytope, Hoof and Xero going. I can totally cover the more "traditional" sounds I need for my band with the synth board. Heck, I could cover everything I need with the Microsynth and the BEF Pro if I needed. Wish I would have bought a Microsynth sooner.

Verdict is still out on the Hoof, need to get it with my gig rig before I can make a final decision, but it definitely sounds better than the average Muff to me.

If the Hoof works out, you better believe its getting something special done with it.

Is this those silly 2x2" pedals in one box?

Yes indeed. It was definitely silly to have six tiny no-knob boxes on a board, so I made this thingy.

You're silly.

Thanks...I think.

I meant it in the best possible way. You're a step away from mad scientist, which places you in "silly".

Sounded great pushing the Xerp through my practice rig!

However, in the past I've found that Muff variants don't always please me in the band mix. Also, I'm not in a hurry to fill up the board anyway as my pedal buying days are on hold for awhile as I'm in the process of buying a house.

Swapped out a few things including the looper (new smaller 3 in 1), Reverb (Cathedral for Holy Grail up first in the chain) and Tone Reaper for my WIIO.
Only thing I'm waiting on at the moment is my DMC-4 for the TimeLine. Only thing I'm considering adding is a DD7 before the TimeLine

I really dig it man. I've been questioning everything a lot lately. I thought I had everything together perfectly, but then I started working heavily on my looping technique and discovered that the TimeLine's looper actually sucks when looping layers of boosted distortion (I run the SHO after both the WIIO and Muff to add a bit more dynamics and just give it that SHO sparkle) so I think that's why I want to get a DD7, because I know they can handle layers and layers of huge distortion without much/any compression/high end loss. I had been doing the Tone Reaper->Muff combo for the past two months, I really enjoyed how smooth the Tone Reaper could get on swells, and sustain for days. But the WIIO can do that too, and is a lot smoother sounding, while still pushing my Big Muff into that wall of sound that I love. The WIIO is dynamic as hell. I've got it set up gain wise to be JUST before full on fuzzy drive. The Master Volume honestly scares me on that pedal. I've never turned it up past 1! hahahah. The two band EQ is also really, really dynamic and useful. I would definitely suggest the WIIO. I fucking hate overdrive too, so it's saying a lot!
