That's a negative.

They give you an idea when they're shipping out? :idk:

On the long end of the spectrum 10 weeks, the short end is three to six weeks. So three to ten weeks, lol.

that's a pretty long wait for a pedlol. don't get me wrong, it's gonna be worth it, but damn

The way I see it is it's going to be a helluva lot less wait then what I waited for when I plunked down money for my Mellowtone Supa Chan.

Sounds like a good plan. I didn't even try to check the dealers 1st. Good luck!

When I bought my TimeLine they gave me a wait time of 10 weeks, but it really was only about a month

well, yeah...if they've got a ten-week waitlist for $400 boxes, everybody's happy in Strymonland.

Good for them. I think it's well deserved. They seem to have really pushed what modern DSP is capable of and that will only force other pedal makers to up their game to compete. That will be good for everybody.

Definitely true. Hopefully we'll see more innovation in the market.

For some reason I like the sound of the El Cap a lot better (sounds warmer to me), plus it has a smaller footprint, and I think it has controls that are more useful (at least to me).

Plus you get that sexay looper. It's basically one of the best tape delay emulations plus the Lo-Fi Loop Junky...with dubbing!

THIS!!!

The El Cap is the only looper I've tried that sounded almost identical to my LFLJ but that dubbing feature gives it the clear advantage. People always talk about how expensive Strumon is but that pedal offers some serious "bang for the buck" imo. Enjoy.

Heyo.

Can the El Capistan do a "clean" loop? I know the point of the thing is to do weird tape loops and stuff, but, if I needed it as an option, can it do a 1:1 loop? I assume that I would turn the "tape age" all the way down so as to be "new tape".

Thanks bros!

Definitely a great item.

Also when I ordered mine the wait time was quoted at 3-10 weeks, but they filled the order the next day.

It can do a kinda clean loop. It's never really spotless clean and deteriorates each time it loops. No matter how clean it starts it will eventually end as a tape mangled, garbling mess. Which is awesome :!!!:

Yes yes yes! The El Cap has five knobs each with secondary functions, two toggle switches with three settings each, tap tempo, and a built in looper. I'd say that's a pretty good bang for the buck!

Yep. And while a Timeline is $500  ,it adds 8 more delay/noismaking options (I think?), too many features to list, so many presets/banks, and DL-4-style looping but better (after spending another $150 on midi controller of course ;) )

Now the Blue Sky.......yeah, that's overpriced. No real interest in the rest. They need to quit fucking around and create/release the ULTIMATE DEDICATED LOOPER! Buncha modes (lofi, digital, pattern, pitch shift, reverse, filter, etc, etc.) user presets, less $$ than Boomerang while also smaller and not visually repulsive. Why are they not coming forth with this ultimate Looper?!?!?!?!

Ima hit up their FB now.
