i wouldn't exactly consider grails post rock. they're more psychedelic rock IMO.

Well, shit, yeah. If we're counting Isis as post-rock, then that would have been my first recommendation. And if you're going to include them, you can include Neurosis's last 4 or 5 albums, and probably Pelican too. All fucking awesome bands.

Balmorhea isn't really post rock - in the same way as Mono - but they're often called post rock, and they're amazing. The album Constellations is one of my favourite albums of all time of any genre.

Oh, and This Will Destroy You is awesome if no one has mentioned that yet.
