Re: The Confessions Thread
i'm quite fond of odd meters--5/4, 7/8, 9/8, 11/8--but my favorite is 4/4 with a superimposed/implied 12/8 triplet. this shows up everywhere from the Grateful Dead to the entire Pure Phase album by Spiritualized, and makes for a wonderful rotating forward movement that i find irresistable.

I only know that because people told me so. Nowadays I can at least understand the 4/4.

Yeaaaaaaaah I love a regular 4/4 with a complementary poly-rhythm. GROOVE.

Had hair down to my belly button. No hair cut for 6 years. Just gone razor bald.
I don't recommend it.

Re: The Confessions Thread
Confession: I think the cover band I played with on spring break did a better version of Prison Sex than Tool did on that record. For the sole reason of more gain and more audible bass.
