Looking through cars on craigslist and I might have stumbled onto a 97 Jetta worth buying. It's $500 OBO, so I might pitch $400 at him and buy a cheap car, hoping it'll last a couple years. I just need to get the road time in and I can get my license (parallel parking is, like, my worst enemy, but Jettas are tiny little bitches).

I mean, the ad says it runs, and its the same car my roommate has, so you can clearly make them last, at the least.

ONE MORE DAY OF FULL CLASSES UNTIL FINALS. one of my exams is in 4 hours, another is a take home, and another is open book. I love college this semester :)

I came into my Meteorology lecture and started freaking out because he was lecturing about El Nino and I thought the midterm had been Tuesday when I skipped. It was today though. I was relieved. I still really didn't know much of the material, but whatevs I was there.

I also forgot my lab manual for the same class's lab at 3, so I have an excuse to drive home and see if my tax returns came yet because tomorrow would be the perfect day to go amp shopping. :)

I only have one cumulative final this semester and it's all memorizing definitions from the book because my professor has no idea what he's doing. :joy:

Even if you aren't a Kanye fan, there's no denying that this beat is tight as fuck. Listening to instrumentals from this album I realized how much of an impact it made on my "hip-hop" beats I've been writing. It feels like it's only hip hop because it just can't be anything else.

But I love this beat. Fer srs guis.

Also, this dude is awesome.

freestyling raps and beats with his fist and a pen on a porch. Holy shit.

well, so far so good today. got up way too damn early and decided to be somewhat industrious behind it, so i applied for three jobs online, sussed out the phone number i'd lost for a guy i talked to about a job last year who's advertising again and left him a message, and called Stewart MacDonald to order an new bar magnet to replace the one i fucked up on my Epiphone Les Paul Custom last night. next: another delicious cup of tea and then i'm off to see if i can finally get the truck smogged without spending $200 i don't have tuning it up.

Sweet mother of God. I never thought that I'd like a single thing this kid did, but holy shit.

Justin Bieber knows how to throw the fuck down. I would actually buy a rap album if he had it produced by a kickass producer. Holy fuck.

Not gonna lie, I'm impressed. As much as I didn't like the materialistic/generic lines, he had some pretty good ones in there and he kept his pace really well.

not bad at all. and wasn't that one of the things that impressed Tiimberlake about him in the first place?

so they dicked up my truck registration somehow and it's insisting that i have to have a inside-the-smog-area test even though i don't live there. but even with that, and the schlep i had to do down to Capitola that failed to get things sorted, i still made a shit-ton of progress this week, and even figured out how i fucked up on the PU de-potting and how to fix the pickup. and my friend who i was supposed to meet for dinner decided she'd rather go tomorrow, so i can go take the nap i so desperately want :thumb:

Turns out I don't have to work tonight. The problem is, I haven't had a Friday night off in so long, I don't know what to do.

Sounds epic. Like Clash of the Titans on a really tiny scale.

Ahh I'm so happy right now

I've been jamming with lots of new people and I feel like I'm on the brink of something magical :O I'm THIS close to getting a band together that not only doesn't hold me back, but makes me better. And on top of that I'm finally able to use my pedalboard to its potential. And on top of THAT I've also rediscovered the sweet excellence that is my black Sovtek Muff :!!!:

I feel like I'm about to ejaculate a rainbow or something
I make pedals. SHARK TANK
