Madison/Milwaukee... any shows May9th-12th?

my band just got asked to play empty bottle in chicago on may 10th... so i was hoping i could find some shows up in the WI area to play around that weekend. any ideas? thanks!

I've played at both and they're cool places. I don't know if there's any shows on the 9th-12th, but if you contact the people at Candelight, they'll let pretty much anyone set up a show. If you're willing to travel the extra half an hour to west bend, I'm good friends with a lot of the bands there and we could set up a show.

If you need to get paid for travel, the Borg Ward is not your place. It was a super cool venue, but they do very little promotion, so there weren't very many people at the show we set up. We charged at the door, so you would need someone to stand there all night.

There are a TON of good bars in Milwaukee. I am not sure you could book something now, but I would maybe check with the FB group Milwaukee Shows. I don't think they book stuff, but they would know who to talk to and who is playing those nights.

I can talk to my band about maybe a May 11 show at the candlelight. Maybe if we get nieh's band and one other we can have enough to support you guys.
