Thanks Monkeydancer.

It's cleaner than the Fuck OD on low gain.
It's more transparent, but Fuck OD has more personality and is better for high gain (wilder)... and the Fuck mode is amazing and unique.

So both are excelent... Barbershop is better for the low gain stuff (cleaner)... and Fuuu for the high gain and broken amp sound (but still very good for low gain).

This demo and this thread have convinced me I need a Barbershop once my Elements gets here.

I have over half a dozen dirt pedals now (as sylnau knows!) that each can do high gain fairly well, for me the real race and what sets them apart is how each one sounds at lower gain settings. Barbershop looks like a contender!

But really it just means I get to buy another pedal ;)

I'm with ya, yallerhon. Who needs one high gain dirt box when you can have five or six really low gain ones stacked instead?

yah. the intricicies of y'all Thinner Stringed Brotha's instruments mystifies me. but that's what i love about the B3k. it's SO good at low gain as well as at high.

we are a simple, earthy people. at one with the land and ourselves. talk of Klons and things named Blues Deluxe that are not used to play blues or OFFSETS confuses us and makes us uncomfortable.

SIMPLE.

Unfrozen caveman bass man?

They got Klons for bass too.

What's in a name? (Everything is the "blues" to some extent or another.)

They've got offset basses too.

SIMPLE. PIMPLE.
