Analog delays w/ a momentary switch?

I have a Particle - it's amazing. Totally not even trying to approximate analog, it goes in the other direction and does crazy digital in ways I'd never considered.

Yeah, I'm flip flopping. Going from one extreme of the delay spectrum to the other.

I can't decide whether I should pick up a Particle now or wait until the revised version hits and just grab a newly revised Randy's Revenge in pre-order instead of any delay.

Yea particle wins. I just wish it had presets, and I had an upgraded one with a exp pedal. So I could freeze my sounds or change my delay speed or w/e.

Yeah, I just looked and it took me like 5 minutes to find a price for that thing.

I have a momentary warp/freakout switch on a unit I had built recently by NoiseKickFX.



Analog delay with warp (loco!) switch, stutter trem, and metallic, nasty tasting octave fuzz.

And my first choice that came to mind (already said) is the DMB Lunar Echo. That ped is so much goddamn fun.

$380 is a LOAD of cash for the Jam

$300 for the Lunar Echo gives you more features plus FX loop and the exp pedal.

I've abated my GAS for delays right now though. Maybe eventually I'll pick up a Lunar Echo at some point, but I can't afford one right now.

I think for my original intended purpose, I'm just gonna use a flanger instead.

But at the moment the Empress Superdelay is working great for me, so I'll wait maybe something new from SS/BS or Dr. Sci will be more exciting.

Yeah, in general, the more options the better.

I definitely always take price into consideration. I couldn't find a price anywhere on the JAM website. Had to look on a dealer's site. It's just not worth it for me to spend that much money on a delay (which I don't really think has enough features given that price).
