Inexpensive bass fuzz

Post by Bellyheart »

Suggestions? I have a velcroscillator en route but that is for the guitar. I want growl and bass boosting capabilities and to spend less than $125. I'm gonna try the velcroar but don't expect it to do that really so what are some options?

It's a little bit over the price you're asking, but I've heard good things about the Exar Superfuzz:

I believe that Behndy was diggin' it, and may have posted a demo vid...

The other thing you could do is order a Muff or some other clone from MadeByMike. He made me an awesome IC Muff for $115, I think it was. I'm sure he could mod it for more bass, or put in a clean blend, or whatever floats your boat for a bass fuzz.

i just sold my Civil War muff made by our own MSLP and it was great, but I want to try a different fuzz. I just got my tax return so I may just do something else. This was just to hold me over until I was able to get a TAFM and now I can...

Dude! Get a TAFM if you want growl. Or maybe a custom bass modded fuck?

As an avid bass fuzz enthusiast AND ss/bs fanboy, I cannot agree with BentHerTaurusInD-Town.
