Question for ya - I'm really interested in the Source EQ for a utility device.

You hold the footswitch until you get to the preset you want, then let go? How do you activate the scroll function? Or does that require you to bend down and press buttons?

Recent acquisition this so I'm still getting the hang of it - it works like you describe and you can adjust the time taken to scroll through the 4 presets as you hold down the switch. You can also set it so that it just keeps scrolling when you click the switch once for a tremolo like effect (haven't tried that yet). So far I'm just happy to have a couple of boosts and a couple of scoop options in one pedal - may have to get more creative soon though

See, that's what I'm getting at - if you just want to hold the switch, scroll to a preset, then let go I get that part. If you decided 2 seconds later you want to have the auto-scroll feature, does that require to change a parameter by bending down and adjusting something?

Basically, can you do everything with your feet?

No its either or unless you're really good with your toes - to make it do auto-scroll you have to fiddle with the 'backpage parameters' using the save and select buttons. Its kind of an afterthought feature i think, but you could probably do amazing things with it

Gotcha. That's what I thought after watching all the videos of it. I know the backpage setting lets you turn it off or on, but yeah that requires you to fiddle a little.

Would have been perfect to incorporate everything hands free.

I mean, yea they are fun as shit, but I feel like "what's the fucking point?" You know? I have way too much dirt.

Here's what it is looking like minus the TAFM leaving, the Sansamp is gone and Walkure is one loan. Oh and the Creepyfingers is toast. But I have a Basstard fuzz on the way, the Reptile will be coming back eventually as well as my Reptile fuzz, plus a Wren and Cuff Box of War is coming. Oh and I bought a Swell Pro.

Yea so, let's count them Walkure, Reptile, Box of War, B3K, Swell, Depth Charge, Woolly clone, Great Destoyer, Robot Devil. That's 9 dirt pedals on one board!

My tone sounds like complete and utter shit when I stack these! Also, I think I fucked my signal chain somehow because my tone is sucking in general right now. Soooooooooo annoying.

So I'm thinking of downgrading a bit. Getting rid of like 5 of those. That's a lot. And it will be a hard choice. Either that or just pulling them off my board. I need a good envelope filter and a good delay. The DD-3 is aight, but honestly the best delay I've had for bass was the Carbon Copy. The Timeline seems cool, but good grief, it has way to many options.

You're referring to the Basstard by Okko?

Damn fine pedal... probably comes in a close second to the Darkglass. Classy as hell, I LOVE mine. You'll be the second I know to have one. :thumb:

didn't you have an Octave Divider build for a hinute? not digging it? repurposed somewhere else? WHAT HAD HAPPENEDEDED TO IT??!??!?

Not going anywhere! Its on the other board (work in progress, half wired up for temporary testing type use) at the very front of the signal chain. Love it.

Is yours in yet? If so what do you think of it?

This is it! It's actually a really good sounding pedal. Maybe I should do a video? Hmmm....I've been super lazy lately.

I want to try the Okko one sometime. That tone!!!!!! Ohhh I'd love to for sure!

Two more pedals to go then all pedal buying done forever... will not happen

Mini Ark bros! :thumb:

How do you like that Tracer City? I've always lusted for one but never had the opportunity to pull the trigger on one, from demos they seem incredible though.

I really like the tracer city, I think the cv is a huge part of it though so when I start using the cv out from the mini ark and one of the outputs of the rc50 into the other cv port it should really open it up.
It's the best filter pedal I've ever used though the random step feature is so cool!

I got a new pedalboard today do I redid my setup and for once I don't think I'll be changing anything for a while.

I tried to set it up in a way that is compact but is also easy for me to hit the foot switches without knocking any of the other knobs or switches. I'm really happy with the way it turned out. I've got all the pedals that I wanted on there and I'm not wasting any space.

Thanks Skullservant!
