Well.... I found the product info but haven't read it yet. The one i got is a little different than the pic. It seems to have 2x2 delay units hooked together, and one modulation unit. Apparently i can route the delays into eachother, and stereo out. It also only does XLR. Hopefully I'll have some fun with it next week, and hopefully it will get awesome.

But save to say: digital delay. Though not very gig-friendly :)

:?: :idk: well, it doesn't weight more than half of a guitar amp, right? So I can't see why it wouldn't deliver the awesome live, too. :thumb:

The GR-2 with the Geiger in it must sound ridiculously good. I gotta go try that out....

I used to have a dyna-comp and compared to that its less noisy and colours the tone less. The eq does pleasant things and if you want to really turn up the comp (usually I only keep it really subtle at 9 0'clock) there is just a generally lovely vibe.

Question for ya - I'm really interested in the Source EQ for a utility device.

You hold the footswitch until you get to the preset you want, then let go? How do you activate the scroll function? Or does that require you to bend down and press buttons?

There are so many possibilities with it and the buffered bypass option on the gr2 means that you can run the gc as normal when the gr2 is off.

Probaly my favourite thing is to use them both together with the mix down a bit on the dirty channel of the amp :animal:

Recent acquisition this so I'm still getting the hang of it - it works like you describe and you can adjust the time taken to scroll through the 4 presets as you hold down the switch. You can also set it so that it just keeps scrolling when you click the switch once for a tremolo like effect (haven't tried that yet). So far I'm just happy to have a couple of boosts and a couple of scoop options in one pedal - may have to get more creative soon though
