This is my kit that I sadly have to sell in order to pay for guitar-based projects. It is a 5-piece Tama Superstar Custom Hyperdrive in Mocha Fade with the unique drum sizes:

Here is the finish clearer. It's very pretty, without ever being garish or flaunty:

Here are my cymbals. I'm using a Sabian Vault Ride 20", Paiste Twenty Mini-China and Splash, both 10", Zildjian A-Custom Fast Crash 15", Meinl Mb10 Medium Crash 17", and Zildjian Avedis New Beat Brilliant Hi-Hats, 14". Everything is sadly up for sale.

Just get a bass drum and pedal, hi-hats and stand, and snare and you've got the fundamental kit you'd need. I'd buy it all used, put more money into the bass drum pedal and hi-hat stand than everything else and then as I felt a need or got more money I'd buy a ride cymbal, floor tom, maybe a second cymbal that is more crashable than the ride, and then a rack tom if you think you'll use it.

Just got a Ddrum Dios 13 x 7 maple snare to use as a side snare. Has a nice thwack to it. Contrasts with my Supraphonic.

And I'll be getting the Dream Bliss 14" hats shortly.

I use dream bliss 15's, a 22" ride, and a 20" crash/ride.
Dream ftw.
