Stick it out, man. I'm in a similar spot (4 weeks 'til graduation) and the past year has been one unmotivated, doubting experience. But the light and the end of the tunnel looks really good. You've already put in most of the work, just gotta persevere.

i hate college boys. i also hate being mostly attracted to white guys because it means i almost always get blown off in favor of some boring, plain looking, pale anybody. (or like, worse!) i am so much more interesting than like, most of these chicks.

also i have a big paper due monday.

C'mon theres gotta be at least a few guys who would make you their first priority, if not a whole lot more.

i don't even fuck with guys who aren't interested in music on some level. but it's hard to find people into pedals, or even people who kind of understand the hobby. and also all girls like/seek guys who play music but it seems like many guys don't really care one way or another about girls who play music. :whateva: it seems like a lot of guys want a cheerleader instead of an equal. and it seems like a lot of girls are totally content being that. but the reasons a lot of girls don't get into the arts are long and convoluted and stupid to get into and ultimately irrelevant because i'm still so fucking pissed.

i don't have any interest in dating guys significantly older or younger than myself for various reasons, although a lot of my friends do. always weirds me out.

Yeah, definitely know what you mean by it being hard for someone to understand the hobby. I think we all know that feel haha.

But yeah, the demographic of your college sounds kinda shitty. A lot like mine in a way, most girls I see just want to go get wasted with friends/hot guys. I know real people exist here, I just don't know how to fucking find them. Maybe it's just chance :idk: or maybe it's not me staying in my room all the time. Meh...

Cannot motivate myself to start this paper. Hopefully a walk will kickstart something within me. I have to get my ass in gear to finish all this work :grumpy:

Cool girls here are sooooooooooooo hard to find. And I understand the "looking for an equal" premise, all to well. There just isn't anyone there. And when someone DOES come along, they get scared cuz I'm a deep person, and it contrast SO FUCKING MUCH to ALL the superficial morons around here, it's just too intense for them. So I just decided to stop being vocal about myself to anyone. Meeeeeeeeeeeh. It's not hard being "special" here when you take into account that people here are 20 years behind the rest of the world. Things are getting better tho. People are starting to think with their heads. It's just.. I'm not content on stopping evolving, and I doubt that I'll meet a girl with whom I'll be able to talk, kid, laugh, talk about deeper serious stuff but to be able to have that childish view of the world, to just do what you wish and enjoy it to the fullest. To find that + music interest+understanding+pedals+creativity would be equal to winning immortality or sth like that.
I know this pretty much sounds like me being a douche, but I decided that false modesty just sucks, so there. I don't think I'm better then the rest, I'm just REALLY different.
I do have lots of friends that are on the same level and that kinda keeps me from going insane with depression and loneliness. Understanding is a lacking commodity nowadays, and it's harder to come by. Understandable if you see the mainstream and the brain-less imagination-less bullshit that's been fed to the kids.

And thank you ILF for being here and seeing that I'm not really alone.

I know you've been talking about it happening, but it's always hard to prepare for it. IS there anything you can do right now?

That seems a little obvious to me. Not sure why, it just does. :erm:

As for guys, make them want you! Let them know what's so awesome about you. Same goes with gals, be aggressive but casual and don't appear too needy either. People can't see how awesome somebody's personality/tastes are, only how hawt they are. That's why looks will win out every time if there's no alternative presented.

But also, if you're 22 and actively seeking someone to settle down with forever rather than just casually date and see where it goes, you'll probably seem kinda creepy and I know I won't be interested in you. But that's just me.

If only I could actually meet teh ladehs. I swear there's just none around here except for the ones that even the greatest personality in the world couldn't make interesting (dating-wise, I mean they're all fat and nasty). I kinda pisses me off when guys fuck fat girls. We don't need to be encouraging that! (for the record: not a sexist thing. fat dudes are just as nasty). And I'm talking about super fat gross chicks, not just a little chubby. ramble, ramble, ramble, I'm kinda high and forgot what the hell I was talking about.

Moving on, I am so in the middle of that college apathy. Hopefully, I can graduate this December, but dayum even the last month of this semester is going to be tough to keep focus on. My classes aren't that hard. I just ended up getting stuck with a couple basic major requirements and gen. eds which I thought I was done with years ago. I can never get an actual appointment with my counselor and I swear the people on these walk-ins don't have a clue. I could probably have graduated by now and they just didn't realize it.

Addition: Fuck dubs
