Finally got to mess around with my TimeLine AKA skullz music

Post by skullservant »

I finally got to mess around with my TimeLine tonight after a weekend away from my apartment. I spent a few hours getting through the presets, I'm only on bank 49 right now, but when I turned 49B on, it blew my mind and I had to record it. It's apparently an ICE setting, but it adds a sub octave to you playing along with a really cavernous reverb. It's unreal. The drumming is off, the playing is off, but I just wanted to demonstrate how evil the sub octave sounded. EBVPJr->EQD Tone Reaper->Sovtek V1 Big Muff-> Klon Buffer Clone-> SHO-> TimeLine direct into my computer.

I can't see a clip or link to a clip? I am on my iPhone if that makes a difference..

I'm scared to even take a proper look at the Timeline.. Every time I take a 'proper look' at anything, I end up just buying it anyway..

The mA requirements on Strymon stuff (El Cap needing 300mA) are a bit of a pain, but that's my problem not Strymon's. :)

Thanks dudes!

Yallerhon, the link is: http://soundcloud.com/skullservant/timeline-octave-test

My only complaint thus far with the TimeLine is sometimes when you get a loop going and have about 10-15 layers on it, it starts to freak out a little bit and start making really blown out sounds. Might just be sending too much DOOM into it hhahaha

Dubkitty, I would like to hear that too! The sub octave tracks better than any octave pedal I've used, its really nuts

super cool. the octave reverb effect is perfectly subtle, thickens up everything in the best way. i love your progressions too.

what does the klon buffer do for your set up?

Thanks man! The buffer seems to just clean everything up a tad, tighten up my sound a bit before it goes into the TimeLine. It's one of those pedals you don't really notice when it's on until it's not in the chain anymore and then you want it back.

I need to record a real version of this track, I had a lot of fun recording it!
