No. My band (i play with an or120 and 4x12 plus a 1x12 reverberocket combo and my bassist an acoustic 370 with 2x15) plays with some ridiculously tiny squier PA that absolutely blows--I think it has 10" drivers and a powered mixer with 4 channels and built in reverb. I can't ever hear myself sing because we play so loudly. Fuck it.

I'll take some pics of our PA at our gig on Saturday night. I wouldn't say it's huge, but we've played some pretty decently big bars with it.

We use a Mackie 1604 mixer, three power amps (2 QSCs and 1 Behringer) for our mains, our sub and our monitors. Our mains are Geminis with Eminence 15s and 3 tweeters each. Our monitors are passive peaveys with 12s and a tweeter each. Our sub is an 18" Peavey. The mixer and power amps are in a 14 x 10 rack case, along with a dbx limiter/gate and a Behringer fx unit for the vocals.

It's a pretty nice setup, and it allows all of us to turn our amps down and let the PA do all the work (and not make ourselves deaf up on stage).

Here is my mixer in it's road case, on my dining room table, I bought it from the lead guitars of Soil. It's a Electro Voice BK1416, it's all analogue and minty clean!

Used to. It was a pain in the ass. Got totally out of hand and the band ended up spending more time out with the PA at other bands' gigs than we did playing. And when we did play anywhere, the smallest rig we could put together was infeasibly huge. We could easily fill a bar with speakers and an enormous mixing desk. Sounded fucking killer though.
