Every time I put on this album, I'm immediately in it. I think it's a masterpiece.

Panopticon used to be my favorite Isis album, but then I discovered Celestial. So much denser and deliberate sounding in my opinion...

But yeah, I guess Funeral Doom isn't really what I'm looking for...I have listened to a lot of those bands mentioned and they were all to overwrought and cheesy sounding for my tastes. I tried liking them, it just wasn't working out for me. I guess Nortt falls under that ambient/depressive black metal umbrella moreso than any doom genre. I need more stuff like that....sparse, morose and cavernous.
