check it out, it has been one of my favorites ever since the Snailking. Start with Eve if You're into massive pieces, or the Snailking or Lucifer Songs if into 'songs' with more resemblance to popular music song writing.

Never heard of the genre "Funeral Doom" before haha. But yeah I really like the blown out sound as well, especially in contrast with the piano.
Usually not a fan of those growling vocals but even that's well done.

When people was just getting busy with being the fastest blasting band in there, I felt being heavy always had more to do with slowing it down. I proved my point to many friends by playing them Metallica Harvester Of Sorrow 45 single running only 33rpm, but not many shared my enthusiasm for doomy slow tunes.

i've done the opposite...if you still have a CD player you can monitor in fast-forward mode and FF a Sigur Ros disc it sounds like thrash-metal. fucking hilarious.
