just a loop in Maschine.

thanks! that's a fun song, we're using just the part with B3k -> TimeLine and Heavy Machine -> TimeLine for the first section.

yah, i'm WAY happier with the smaller footprint. there was some odd stuff inside the og case like a 10 spot switch thing wired to a 3 way switch. was just HUGE compared to the alternative.

i know i posted this before, but here's a before and after.......

hard to argue with how freaking AWESOME they sound though. really, REALLY like that thing.

How does the Huge Box cope with active pickups?

Active pickups or active preamp? Or both?

With passive pickups and active preamp, it still sounds delicious.

With ACTIVE pickups AND preamp, it can get a little compressed sounding (similar to extreme settings on the Magnetar) but I dig that sound. The majority of basses are going to have passive pickups and active preamp. My MTD's for example, are both active PU's and preamp so you can get an idea of the sound.

It's not as gated as the Magnetar, but damn it really does sound...well....HUGE.
