I'm looking for an expression pedal that will be compatible with my effects — the SP-2 or EP-1 seem to be what I need. I am also looking into the Source Audio SA161.
Anyone who has tried/owned any of these able to provide some feedback?
what all are you going to control? outside of the Line6 M-Series stuff i can't really think of anything off-hand that needs a weird controller. really, for me, the differences in expression pedals are going to fall down to how long a throw they have and how sturdily built they are. the Moog EP-2 is really nice, but without working on it it's not super reliable. the Mission stuff is VERY well built, but it does have a slightly smaller throw than the EP-2. the Source is so new it's kinda impossible to tell how well it lasts, but the two outputs are nice.
also, love the Lightning Bolt cover avatar. one of my favorite bands, and the best live show i've ever seen. got to talk to Brian The Drummer, SUPER nice guy. plus Wilson is just a fucking MONSTER.

The Source pedal uses a similar mechanically linked mechanism as the Mission stuff. I think it has a slightly longer throw though. The key difference is the 50k pot that it uses which is the same as the Moog, for my pedals, it really seems to be the best.
