So I went out and partied my face off, Andrew W.K. style, on Saturday. Had a wonderful time. It was raining. I ended up covered in mud and in bed with two chicks. Victory. Winsauce.

However, the next morning, I realized that I didn't have my ipod. Shit. Turns out I'd dropped it outside, where we were partying, in the rain. Sadface.

Found it, and it was DOA. Tears were spent. Souls were crushed.

Googled the bag of rice trick. Incredibly skeptical, I figured I'd try it. Sealed that shit up on Sunday evening. Just pulled the 'pod out today and plugged it into my Ipod dock-y thing...

AND IT FUCKING WORKS!

Way to be bro. I'd say it would have been a small price to pay...but it's always good to avoid paying the drunk tax if possible.

Thanks dude! I'm pretty proud of how this turned out. It stemmed from me wondering if I could play that lead line with my 2525...and I could. So, I just went from there. The drum beat is actually me beating on my roommate's guitar. He made a cheap tele an Esquire, and then put a contact mic underneath the pickguard. So, I just looped that, since I don't have a drum machine. The noise was actually really fun to add.

$7.50ish a pack up here. I rolled my own, so that was anywhere from $30-$55 every three weeks for a tin, depending on where I was buying.
