I have the next three and a half hours to sit around and get high and sleep in my car before my night class. What should I do? Campus is pretty dull. There IS a guitar shop nearby with cool shit to check out.

Hmm looks like I might not be so bored after all.

I want to know where my Lluna is, but USPS isn't updating my tracking info until two days later, so I have no idea where it is. I'm also not mad enough to justify posting this in the rage thread.

Where to start? What to do? Informing people about the benefits of it and showing that we're not really junkies (as is the bias here where I live) seems like a good idea.
People still think that it's a gateway drug, and it's addictive and it will fry your brain and lungs and make you schizophrenic. :/
Yeah.
Is it any better in the rest of the world?

Why should it be legalized?

Think of arguments both for and against, then go look at how those things are in the Netherlands as it's been legal there long enough to measure some of the perceived effects.

While it does take some of the I'm doing something I'm not supposed to thrill out of it, once you're 18 you can walk in and get your own stash and smoke to your hearts content. So on the one hand there's less reason to try, but on the other once you decide you want to try it, there's nothing to stop you from doing so.

First and foremost, the price of 1g is 10$ here. Next, people who smoke for medical reasons (insomnia, epilepsy, etc) and have 1 fucking plant at home, so they don't have to pay the huge prices, are being prosecuted and portrayed as dealers. There is an initiative for legal medical marijuana use but it's really smothered and people are hugely biased towards it based on propaganda from the 90ties (which is lie upon lie lol).

And I don't have that thrill, no one does anymore. The irony is that 60% of the people smoke weed here, but somehow there's still bad publicity about it, even tho alcohol-induced violence is massive, kids getting killed for a cigarette, but people don't see that as an issue. :/
Twisted, things are.
I really hope we can push the balance of healthy thought through. Sigh.

if i dressed my age i'd never have sex again.

i realized after i left that the reason i went out was because otherwise i wouldn't get to see my friend Jay until after next week is over because he's a teacher and is going away for spring break. my brain did the math before i was aware of it. i'm fucking beat now, though...i had to deal with getting the truck registered today, so i spent ages on the road and at the DMV.

Started a new blog. Only the insanely book obsessed may find it worthwhile to look at. What I'm doing is recording the books - or other writing - recommended or referenced by authors in their own books.
